Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn, was involved in a car accident in February 2015. According to witnesses, the rear end of Jenner’s SUV hit a white car that went careening into oncoming traffic. It was then hit by a Hummer. The driver of the white car died and seven other people sustained injuries. He was not hurt in the wreck.
Laura Bush hit a car back in high school, when she neglected to stop at a STOP sign, killing Michael Dutton Douglas.
Matthew Broderick drove the wrong way on a street. His car crashed on an oncoming one. Both the passenger and driver in the other car died due to injuries.
Ted Kennedy: in 1969, was driving a car that went off a Chappaquiddick bridge. It went into the water and the passenger drowned. He escaped the scene and only reported what happened after 9 hours. He pleaded guilty for not reporting and leaving the incident scene.
Don King: the celebrity killed two men during two incidents. The first men was killed in self-defense when the he broke into King’s gambling operation. However, King was convicted of second-degree murder for the second case as he stomped to death an employee who owed him $600.
Keith Moon: he accidentally hit his bodyguard and friend, Neil Boland, with his car. He was driving away from a pub and didn’t see Boland on the road. The death was ruled an accident.
Rebecca Gayheart: she hit a 9-year old with a car. The boy died from the injuries. She was convicted with “vehicular manslaughter” on which she pleaded “no contest.”
James Stewart: he was a pilot in the US Air Force Reserve. He participated in several bombing, killing of civilians and soldiers. Stewart received honors for the service, such as the Presidential Medal of Freedom and Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak leaf.
William S. Burroughs: the famous author shot and killed his wife in 1951. He wasn’t charged because the couple was playing “William Tell” in the drunken evening.
Snoop Dogg: Snoop Dogg was charged with the murder of a rival gang member and of his bodyguard. The rapper was defended by Johnny Cochran. He was acquitted several years later.
Sid Vicious: he stabbed and killed his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, in 1978. This crime shocked the world as no one had anticipated that Sid could dot it.
Brandy Norwood: she was involved in a freeway pile-up that led to the death of Awatef Aboudihaj. “I should have stopped,” Brandy repeatedly said according to witnesses.
Howard Hughes: he hit a pedestrian who died but was not charged for it. This was a time when you could think that celebrities were not charged for their crimes.
Dog the Bounty Hunter and his friend: one of Dog’s friends shot Jerry Oliver to death when Dog and him went to buy marijuana. He was convicted of first-degree murder although he was outside and waiting in the car. Dog served 18 months of his 5-year sentence. The celebrity is barred from the UK.
John Huston: he struck a woman who died in 1933. However, he wasn’t charged for his crime. This is again a crime that a celebrity was not charged with.
Vince Neil: he was involved in a drunk-driving accident. His alcohol level was at 0.17. Nicholas Dingley, his passenger, was killed, and the two other people in the other car had brain damage. The celebrity spent 15 years in jail.
Robert Blake: Bonnie Lee Bakley’s murder was charged to Robert Blake. She was shot dead, but he was acquitted although found liable of “wrongful death”.
Phil Spector: he was charged for the murder of Lana Clarkson who was shot dead in the celeb’s home. He was found guilty and so was sentenced to 18 years in jail.
Felicia Pearson: she was convicted of second-degree murder when she was 14 years old, for the death of Okla Toomer. Later after only 6.5 years, she was released at the Maryland Correctional Institute instead of serving two consecutive eight-year terms.
OJ Simpson: he was arrested and charged with Nicole Brown’s death as well as her friend Ronald Goldman’s death. Many believe that he literally got away with the crime, although he was found innocent of it.
Lead Belly: he had a bad temper and was charged for murder of relatives. They were fighting over a woman. Love “does not only hurt,” but also kills.
Johnny Lewis: he broke into Catherine Davis’ house, and then ransacked her home. He killed the 81yr old woman and her cat. He jumped over a fence, assaulted one of the neighbors, and then returned to the old woman’s house. Later, he jumped from a roof and killed himself.
Dwayne Goodrich: in 2003, he was convicted of two counts of negligent homicide. He killed two motorists when he struck them while driving. The two motorists were rescuing a man from a car that was burning. The celeb was sentenced to serve 7 years in prison, and then later had to serve 5 more years added to the sentence.
Aaron Hernandez: Odin Lloyd, his friend, was discovered lying dead in a park just a mile from the former New England Patriots player.
Charles S. Dutton: He fought with another man who was then killed when the actor was 17 years old. The celeb was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to serve seven years in jail.
Oscar Pistorius: he’s on trial for the murder of Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorious is a leading South African runner who won the attention of many when he competed at a high level with his disability.
John Landis: the director was charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of Vic Morrow and two children playing extra on the set of “The Twilight Zone.” The director was acquitted but paid $2M to each of the families of the two children.
John Wilkes Booth: he announced avenging the South from tyranny and fled the scene of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln on April 14th, 1865. He was found hiding in a barn, which the Union soldiers later set fire to. He was shot while moving inside and died a few hours after.
Oliver Stone: he enlisted in the US army and reported for combat duty. He killed several soldiers and joined in helicopter combat assaults.
Gig Young: the actor and his wife were found dead in their home. But after surveying the crime scene, police revealed that the actor shot his wife before killing himself.
Jayson Williams: he accidentally shot his limousine driver while playing with a shotgun. Later, he pleaded guilty “aggravated assault.”
Lane Garrison: he pleaded guilty to a vehicular manslaughter. In 2001, the actor was involved in a drunk-driving accident causing the death of his passenger. He had 0.20 blood alcohol level and cocaine was also found in his system.
Craig MacTavish: he pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and DUI after a car crash that caused the death of Kim Radley who died 4 days later. He served one year in jail, played for 17 seasons, and now is Edmonton Oilers’ general manager.
Amy Locane: she hit a car that killed Helene Seeman, a 60-yr old as well as injured, Fred, her husband. She was convicted for homicide and sentenced to serve three years in prison, but the victims’ family appealed to the court’s decision.
J.R. Smith: the NBA player drove through a stop sign, which led to the death of his passenger. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter, and he was sentenced to 90 days in jail. But, served only 30.
