Michael Giacchino did not write the music of Star Wars. It is the first time that a J.J Abrams movie doesn’t feature his music! However, Michael Giacchino is mentioned in the credits as a stormtrooper!

Kevin Smith was starred as an additional voice actor for Star Wars VII. He gave voice to a stormtrooper with the following line “We have incoming at 28.6! Move!”!! What a line!

Luke Skywalker’s island is real! Named Skelling Michael, the island is part of Ireland! It is part of the UNESCO Heritage and you can visit it!


The trailer shows that a lightsaber is being handed to Leila. It was confirmed that this lightsaber was in fact Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber.

To stream Star Wars VII… You need to go to Canada… Yes guys, Netflix deal to stream Disney movies in the USA only started in 2016. Star Wars came out in 2015 and only Netflix Canada has a deal with Disney to stream from 2015!

J.J Abrams is a sneaky man! He managed to hide a few famous fans behind stormtroopers! For example Simon Pegg was Unkar Plutt! On the right here is Michael Giacchino as a stormtrooper!

J.J Abrams said this movie was a love letter to George Lucas and the original A New Hope. He wanted the audience to feel like they were back in the first episode!

John Beyoga was really  keen to get the role! He was so scared to have been dismissed during the cast that he didn’t tell his family about it! He only announced it when his photo was released on the official Star Wars Twitter page!

Kevin Smith visited the film set. However, since he is known for gossiping, J.J Abrams had to make him sign confidentiality agreement! Abrams had also printed posters WWII propaganda style on which could be read “Loose Lips Sink Starships” to remind Kevin to keep his mouth shut!
